Vainu offers company data to B2B sales & marketing teams to help them reach the right prospects and keep their databases up to date. Bootstrapped and sales-led, the company is adopting product-led growth to scale its operations. I collaborate across teams to deliver self-serve user experiences, including usage-based pricing and the company’s first free plan. A tactical part of the effort is standardizing the design system so we can ship fast.
Originally championed by DevOps trailblazers, Grafana has become ubiquitous. Today, its SaaS product serves a new generation of engineers who need out-of-the-box solutions. Working in the growth team, I partnered with stakeholders across the company to ship onboarding flows. We broke down observability processes into step-by-step instructions to help new users get started, which led to a boost in activation and free-to-paid conversions.
Aiven helps developers build cloud infrastructure with open-source services. In a joint effort by marketing, data, and product, I helped launch the company's first user onboarding experiments. This included setting up technical components, aligning the team on hypotheses to test, and designing user flows. In this first step, the team employed a 3rd-party tool to be able to test ideas and iterate quickly.
